Functional training with Ditte
My classes are all about exploring what your body is really capable of! Often I will divide the workload into an A, B and C part. The A part will most likely include an exercise from the weightlifting (snatch or clean & jerk) or powerlifting world (squat, deadlift or bench press). The focus here will include technique, fewer reps and heavier weight. The B-part will most often be an intense WOD. Here you'll encounter terms like AMRAP, EMOM or YGIG. This will get your heart rate up! The C-part will either consist of a finisher or some support work to prevent injury. Everyone can join in regardless of their fitness level - I promise you a lot of fun, lots of high fives and of course the best playlist to keep you motivated!

The training in this class can vary greatly from time to time, but the things they have in common are:

3) They will make you ask yourself why you signed up for this class - But!!! Only for a second, because afterwards you'll feel amazing and more fit than you felt before the class - and then you can go eat a big piece of cake 😉
Sometimes we'll focus on building strength, other times we'll practice some skills or spend an extra minute reviewing some techniques on, for example, weightlifting exercises. For each class and each exercise, I've prepared scaled options, so don't let the technical exercises scare you - we really have room for everyone in this class!

Functional training focuses on training your whole body to improve strength and endurance. In this class, we break the workout into several segments, each offering different challenges to keep you motivated. You may find yourself in a circuit training section followed by a CrossFit-inspired segment with AMRAPs, EMOMs or partner challenges. This mix ensures you experience a variety of exercises in each session, keeping your heart rate up and your body fully engaged. Regardless of your fitness level, you'll encounter new and exciting challenges. Join me for a full-body workout that's as fun as it is effective!
